About Session

This session will be held in Madison from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.

We will discuss a shift of SpectrumX research efforts to focus on two flagship projects. The first flagship project on Spectrum Awareness will be centered on coexistence, policy, and experiments in the 7.125 to 8.4 GHz band. Coexistence approaches in this band are relevant to the National Spectrum Strategy and its implementation plan. This project is now well defined and planned team efforts will be reviewed. A brief overview of the second project on Scientific Coexistence will also be provided. This project is in formulation but will focus on the interaction of large satellite constellations with astronomy and microwave radiometry systems. Time will be provided for a questions and discussion session regarding the flagship efforts.
